Kabola wines and olive oils are the result of the hard work and family traditions that span more than a century. The story begins back in 1891, and the family’s bottle of Muškat momjanski from that year bears witness to this. The vineyards from which Kabola wines arrive are located near Momjan, in an area famous for wine growing. The specific climate of the Istrian hinterland and the clay soil rich in marl give the wines a recognisable flavour and aroma that convey the region and its specificities.
Apart from the wines, Kabola also makes olive oil, which is produced from the autochthonous sort of Istarska bjelica mixed with Leccina and Pendolina. Due to a special processing and production technique, this oil has a characteristic flavour and goes best with seafood and homemade Istrian delicacies such as prosciutto and sheep cheese.
