The Cattunar wine cellar and winery is located in Nova Vas near Brtonigla, in one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the Mirna River Valley.

The Cattunar family estate prides itself on its long tradition of wine production. The vineyards stretch over the four soils of Brtonigla (grey, black, white, red) and provide optimal conditions for the cultivation of autochthonous Istrian grape sorts, such as Istarska Malvazija, Teran, Muškat momjanski and Muškat ruža porečka. When visiting the winery, guests can tour the entire estate and get to know the old traditions of Istrian villages and the life of wine growers, and personally participate in the harvest and wine production, subject to prior booking and suitable weather conditions. Apart from wine, there are homemade brandies on offer as well as culinary delicacies such as homemade prosciutto, cheese, traditional pasta, wild asparagus and truffles.
