Završje is a small Istrian village located on a hill north of the Mirna River. This architectural jewel, which has been a witness to Istria’s turbulent history, was long concealed from the inquisitive eyes of tourists. The ancient architecture is dominated by stone and wood, making the entire village a single monument. A walk down its streets will take you back to long-lost era. The village was erected on the ruins of a prehistoric fort, and its strategic significance was recognised by the Romans, medieval noblemen and the Venetians, who added walls and forts centuries later. The old town of Umag offers a look into the history of Umag, from the ancient times right through to the modern period. The beauty of this destination was recognised by Roman noblemen who chose this part of Istria as the perfect location for their vacation homes. The departure of the Romans was followed by a turbulent period – the town was passed from the hands of one ruler to another for centuries. The cobbled streets are lined with elaborately ornate and splendid Venetian villas from the period of Venetian rule, and you will find sights dating from such turbulent past times at every step. If you would like to take a break from sightseeing, visit one of the traditional Istrian taverns (konoba), offering various types of fish and meat dishes, as well as quality wines and olive oils. Take a walk down the narrow alleys and paved squares and discover the rich historical and cultural heritage of the old town of Umag.

Motodrom Poreč (racetrack) has the reputation of one of the best karting tracks in Croatia, if not the very best.

The track was built in 1999 in accordance with all the valid global standards and now offers everything a karting and motorsport lover in Istria could wish for. If our karting is not thrilling enough for you, you can rent the track and take a drive in your own vehicle. Of course, we do not need to emphasise that karting is one of the most popular forms of team-building and organised adrenaline parties for larger groups.
